About Brilliant Kids
Montessori Preschool (BKMP), Carlsbad San Diego:

Program covers
practical life, sensorial, language, math, botany, zoology, geography,
art and music are all taught in a creative and fun way that your
child will enjoy. Your child's positive learning experience is
very important to us and each child is free to excel to their
highest potential in this program.
Why Montessori Preschool?
Home preschool setting is perfect
for the little ones, a gentle transition from home to home
preschool to public/private kindergarten/elementary school.
Many children enjoy a learning experience at home. Children
feel more secure, confident, and comfortable and this results to
better advancement to many areas, and still get the social
factor implemented in the program. Monthly field trips are
scheduled for the children/parents to participate. Because of
the smaller teacher/student ratio, more individual attention is
given to each child. Our teacher/student ratio is 1 teacher to 4
children. Children in this Montessori program have an
opportunity to advance in their own comfortable pace - advance
as fast they are able or in their own speed. In most cases,
Montessori children are more ready and advanced in many areas
when they enter public/private elementary schools.
Many parents also worry about
their children constantly getting sick in commercial preschool
settings. Immune
system is developed through age and proper nutrition and many
other factors, not necessarily by exposure to viruses and
bacteria. Children can be well most of the year if cleaner
environment is offered. With a home preschool setting, children
usually don't get sick as often because of better hygiene and less exposure to other sick children because of our
firm sick child policy. The program facility is licensed by the
State of California and insured.

Preschool / Kindergarten Program in Carlsbad:
- Language - Development of
vocabulary, learning to read and write
- Mathematics - Learning to
count and understand the mathematical concepts in addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Practical Life - Development
of neuromuscular coordination and independence.
- Sensorial Exercises -:
Development of visual discrimination, refinement of the
senses, preparation for the mathematical mind.

Trips
- AND of course lots of fun!
Accepts children ages
from 2 1/2 (potty trained) to 6 years. One wholesome snack will
be offered daily during school session.
Program Schedule:
3 mornings/week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 9 am to 12
pm
3 afternoons/week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 1 pm to 4 pm
Tuition & Fees
for 2006-2007 School Year (10-month school calendar under
Carlsbad Unified School District)

Fee: $75 one time non refundable

month for 10 months
